Media Coverage: Intermittent Festivals, Art Tourism, and the Price of Rural Revitalization

My recent research on intermittent art festivals and island tourism has been featured by Phys.org and Hiroshima University URA. Drawing on Japan’s Setouchi Triennale, the study examines how periodic triennial tourism can contribute to island revitalization, while highlighting the delicate balance between over- and under-tourism and the limits imposed by local capacity.
